The applicant in this position will perform Diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluations and treatment by attending physician.

Previous experience in ultrasound technology preferred, but not required. The applicant in this position must be a graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program recognized by ARRT or ARDMS. Preferred Diagnostic Ultrasound Registered. Must be proficient in all applications of diagnostic ultrasound, including abdominal/small parts, OB/GYN and vascular procedures. Must be able to work independently, as well as, in a team environment. Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments. Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution. Must have excellent planning, coordinating and decision making skills. Excellent technical ability and interpersonal communication skills. Current CPR Certification and Licensed by the State of Illinois. Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking and the ability to lift 50 lbs or more required.
