RNSurgical Services - OR The applicant in this position will coordinate preoperative nursing care of the O.R. patient. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the O.R. The person in this position is accountable to the Surgery Director/Charge Nurse and must exhibit guest relation skills.
The applicant in this position must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current Illinois License. Previous O.R. experience is preferred. RNEmergency Department The applicant for this position must have the ability to triage and provide appropriate assessment/treatment for all levels of acuity, ages, disabilities and stages of development. Asses patients for signs and symptoms of abuse/neglect and refers to appropriate personnel and/or community agencies. The applicant must be able to handle crisis situations in a timely and professional manner. Occasionally will be subjected to work irregular hours as need demands.
Applicants for this position must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing, possess a current Illinois RN License. ACLS and TNCC required or must be willing to obtain within one year. Previous experience of one year in Medical/Surgical or Emergency/Critical Care preferred. C.N.A.Intermediate Care The applicant in this position will perform routine Certified Nurse Aide duties – patient care including: bathing, feeding, bed making and vital signs.
The applicant in this position must possess a Certified Nurse Aide Certificate. Previous hospital and/or Nursing Home experience required. Applicant must be flexible to work other shifts when requested. Clinical CoordinatorAcute Care Services The Clinical Coordinator of Acute Care is accountable for the management of clinical nursing practice in the acute setting. This management includes coordination of the interdisciplinary team in the provision of patient care. Patient care includes care of the neonate to geriatric populations. Clinical Coordinator of Acute Care is an expert in the care processes of general pediatrics, general medical, general surgery, pneumonia, heart failure, orthopedics, ventilator management, acute myocardial infarction, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.
The applicant in this position must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, possess a current Illinois RN License. BSN preferred but not required and have CPR Certification. Must have a minimum of five years healthcare experience. Previous management experience preferred. Must be willing to attend management training that may require travel overnight. The applicant in this position will be responsible for performing a variety of routine duties relating to the preparation, serving of food to Café customers, delivering carts to patient units, cleaning of patient/cafeteria trays, kitchen area/equipment along with other cleaning responsibilities as requested.
Position provides for on the job training. Experience with previous food service and/or money handling a plus. Applicant must possess the ability to follow oral/written instructions and established procedures, stand/walk for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 25 lbs, must be able to withstand exposure to heat, steam, wetness, odors, and be flexible to work schedule. Aide IIEnvironmental Services The applicant in this position will wet mop rooms, halls, stairways and public areas. Duties also include buffing, stripping, waxing, polishing floors, moving furniture and other heavy objects as required. Will handle clean and soiled linens, must be able to occasionally carry/lift over 50 lbs, frequently lift 20-50 pounds and possess the stamina for prolonged, extensive or considerable standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching. Applicant must be able to operate mechanical floor cleaners, polishers, vacuums, and be able to operate a truck with trailer and also be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Applicant must possess demonstrated leadership skills, great verbal communication skills, be able to conduct on the job training for new team members and have a pleasant, approachable personality.

Student Tech ProgramGraham Health System Student Technician Program will be available during the summer of 2012 for nursing students entering their senior year of nursing school in the fall of 2012. Students will be able to rotate through a maximum of three departments during the 10 week period.

RNAcute Care Services - Med/Surg
Medical/Surgical/Pediatric Nurse on Med/Surg is responsible for patient assessment, medications, treatments, care plans, teaching and discharge planning for an assigned group of patients based on acuity. Applicant must possess strong communication skills, critical thinking skills and interpersonal skills.
The applicant in this position must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, possess a current Illinois RN License and have CPR Certification or be willing to obtain BLS Certification within specific time period. RNEmergency Department

Nursing care is provided in collaboration with the Medical Staff and in accordance with objectives and policies of Graham Hospital. The registered professional nurse functions independently and collaboratively with the other health team members and reports to the Director of Nursing.
The applicant in this position must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing, possess a current Illinois RN License and have CPR Certification, and must complete Neonatal Resuscitation course. Aide IEnvironmental Services The applicant in this position will perform routine cleaning tasks in the Surgery department of the hospital, offices, lounges, service areas, patient areas, emergency department, and other ancillary areas and frequently lift 20-50 pounds. Applicant reports directly to the Director of Environmental Services designee.
