The applicant in this position will perform Diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluations and treatment by attending physician.
Previous experience in ultrasound technology preferred, but not required. The applicant in this position must be a graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program recognized by ARRT or ARDMS. Preferred Diagnostic Ultrasound Registered. Must be proficient in all applications of diagnostic ultrasound, including abdominal/small parts, OB/GYN and vascular procedures. Must be able to work independently, as well as, in a team environment. Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments. Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution. Must have excellent planning, coordinating and decision making skills. Excellent technical ability and interpersonal communication skills. The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with one year of medical/surgical experience. Current Illinois licensure, CPR, ACLS or willingness to obtain within one year. Critical care course completion or willingness to obtain within one year.

The applicant must have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing. Must have current Illinois Licensure and current CPR certification. Must have ACLS or obtain within one (1) year.
