Registration, Scheduling, and Financial Assistance

Our Patient Access Area was created with our patients in mind. The Patient Access processes have been redefined in order to better assist our patients in the following services: 

  • Registration - our registrars are available to assist patients in registering for services received at the hospital 

  • Scheduling - schedulers are on site to assist physicians and patients in the scheduling of tests and procedures 

  • Financial Assistance - our Patient Financial Advocate is located on site to assist patients in paying their estimated liability as well as Marketplace enrollment 

For the convenience of our patients, Patient Access hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m.  6 p.m. and Saturday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. The employee located at the Switchboard/Information Desk will assist those who need to register for a service outside of these hours. A Patient Access representative is also located in the Emergency Department 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. 

Insurance payers often require pre-authorization for payment of services. Please verify your benefits with your insurance company to see if pre-authorization is needed prior to services.
