Central Supply Technician

Performs a variety of tasks including supplies, maintaining inventories, and compiling stock records. Reports to the Senior Director of Materials Management.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.
- Receives request for supplies and equipment, selects proper items from inventory, delivers equipment to nursing units, loads distribution carts, and delivers supplies as required.
- Inventory storage areas and exchange carts, maintaining par levels.
- Removes outdated supplies and other unused supplies and returns for reprocessing or for disposition.
- Labels or tags billable items and processes patient charges.
- Organize and maintain records pertinent to par levels, supply quantities issued or missing, make recommendations regarding par levels.
Position Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
