Meet Alivia Derahm- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Alivia Derham, APRN, is an orthopedic nurse practitioner dedicated to helping patients improve their quality of life through compassionate, individualized care. She understands that many patients come to orthopedic services during some of their most vulnerable moments—whether facing injury, chronic pain, or loss of function—and is committed to supporting them every step of the way.

“As an Orthopedic APRN, I am blessed with the opportunity to help patients enhance their quality of life by providing individualized care and support. Patients with orthopedic conditions can present to us in some of the most vulnerable states with either life-altering injuries, pain, or loss of function. It is very rewarding to be part of an orthopedic team that helps patients return to their baseline, improve pain, and maximize functionality.”

A native of Abingdon, Alivia now resides in Knoxville with her husband, their two children, and their family dog, Snoop. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and baking, cooking, and exercising.

Fun Fact: Alivia is a big sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and the Fighting Illini.
